I reckon the UK has had the biggest influence and if i get any responses, i will argue my case - what nation do you think has had the most influence?

What a totally redundant question.

The UK most influences the UK, the US most influences the US and so on. Besides, most people listen to music at face value - not with any preconceptions as to what country it's from. Patriotism has no place in music. That's why all national anthems are rubbish.

The dutch seem to have a lot of influence over Trance, and the UK pretty much controls DnB, Breaks and Hardcore. I always seem to hear about Techno influenced by Germans too. Apart from that, I've never really thought about it.

Yeah I would say the UK Hardhouse production sounds a little more advanced than some of tracks I have heard from US producers.

I think the US are still a major influence in Techno and always will be.

But I like Eropean techno too (it seems to have a more faster pace).
